The lonliness flickers in my mind

Walking the world without a friend by my side

Not a soul who cares I can find

So unfortunately all my secrets I still have to hide



Abandoned by all so there is no room left to believe

You say you will stay but I fear you will just leave

I cannot bear to go through that pain again

So I do not dare let myself get close to where I once have been



Do not touch me, please, I beg

To love you is something I cannot ever crave

I cannot let you near me, I cannot let you care

Because I would lose you and that is something I cannot bear



Just leave me alone, then I will never be rejected, denied

I can cry all I want and no one will see the tears cried

Never had love in front of me, so I wont long for it on the lonely nights

If I am alone forever that is alright



If you have a heart at all,

You will not make me fall

I ask you please do not love me because you will leave

I no longer hear I love you and believe



Do not come around and beckon my heart to fall

Because I cannot resist loves call

Do not say all those sweet things ever again

Do not let your love seep under my skin



and do not dare come near

I love you is something I do not want to hear

Do not come around and care

Only to leave me because that is something I could not bear
