I always thought someone was the one

But it turned into, he wasnt even close

Ended the love before it begun

I was tired of being alone



Tried to fix the damage

But you cant fix a broken heart with a bandage



and you cant keep on pretending to be strong

When you know he is the one

You cant fight a feeling

Because the feeling is too overpowering, it will always win



The tears just keep coming

One by one they continue to fall

Sometimes in this big world,

You can feel so small



You can't break my heart anymore

It has been damaged way too much before

You cant say that you love me then take it back

If you had a heart, you wouldnt play this act



Stop trying to break me,

because you cant

I will listen to your words and try to believe they are not lies

But tell me that you cant feel the pain everytime I cry
