these days the rain just makes me cry
makes me wish that you were still here
i take our boat out on the ocean..
hoping to find you out there swimming
like losing you was just a horrible nightmare
but as i pinch myself,
i realize you are not here
i look to the sky and know that i am all alone
i feel so lost
i need to know that somehow you are still here
the tears just flood my soul
the ones i try to love
now that you are gone
just get scared and leave
why do they never stay?
i keep on wishing for a brighter day
that never seems to come
i still wish that you were the one
