All I  wanted was a love that would last

All I wanted was to forget the past

All I wanted was a chance

All I wanted was to jump in and dance

All I wanted was to be accepted the way I am

And not have to pretend to be someone I am not

All I wanted was to be liked for who I am

And not to become someone I'd hate just to fit in

All I wanted was a dream that now will never be

All I wanted was to be me

Too bad that person is missing

Can I find her again

Can I go back to when

All I wanted was joy

These chains tie me into the ground

Now, All I want is to be free....
