All your lies that you fed me,

they mean nothing to me now

You used to come around

and respark the fire

but now that I can see through clear eyes

I realize I do not need you here



Your lies fed my soul,

quenched its thirst

and kept me going

When I did not think I had the strength

but now that I can see through clear eyes

I realize I do not need you anymore



Your lies made me believe that

what we had was okay

That we would be fine

to continue life that way

but our love could not have been more wrong

and now that I can see through clear eyes

I realize that you just made me believe that

I was not strong



All the lies you fed me all along,

they mean nothing to me now

You cannot come around and light the fire

or say that you will teach me how

Now I can see through clear eyes

and I realize I do not want you back again
