It is time to move on

You clearly made up your mind

You said that this wa too much for you to bear

and you had to say goodbye, although you still cared



I cannot stay here in this same place

All I see in my dreams is your face

Your memories haunt me like a ghost

and that is when I miss you the most



So I will pack my bags and head for the open road,

I will travel as far as I need to

Until your memories choose to let go

I never wanted to lose you, but I lost you without a fight

Maybe I will get better, but I don't think that will be tonight

Was your love just a lie?
