Maybe then no one will look at me
Maybe if I don't speak, no one will remember that I exist
Perhaps if I stop talking, they will all stop asking me questions
that I would rather not answer,
Questions I would much rather ignore
Maybe if I refuse to speak, no one will try to care about me
Only to abandon me in the end
Maybe if I don't speak, they will give up on me,
then they will leave me alone
They'll look in my eyes to get the answer
Perhaps they will speak for the both of us
Don't talk to me, I won't reply
You will see it when I look at you that it is time to say goodbye
Don't speak to me because I do not want to talk
I don't want you to hear my voice
I don't want you to listen, that is my choice
