You were in my thoughts each day
And at night you held a special place.
Though the miles that separated us
We were infinite in regard to our love.
The same moons and stars above
Lay testament to our love
The high regard of truth
Of death and life, the way we lived.
While soldier‘s died, the sun still shone,
And love’s lost loran, cried for all.
Like a bird on the wing,
Shrill for their birth of life.
