It Doesn't Cost A Lot

Even if you're not, old and grey!

And perchance , 

if somewhen, you have the time.

While you sit and watch, 

the children at their play.

I'd ask , that if you'll take a moment.

Just to pause and say.......

one word.

Whether it be in your head ...

Whether it  under your breath ,

or just out loud, or..........

Just think it , ........for me then.

For my mates .

For the battle scared minds.

For the injured and the maimed.

For those that never came home.

Just ......
