I Smelled Desire

And it, 

consumed me.

I became lost, 

within, 

......a melody.

As love sang.

I knew all the words, 

of your song.

They whispered.....

as they echoed,

in my heart.

While life was sweet, 

it became heady.

And passion, made me blind.

I’m wandering lonely, 

in the darkness. 

Chasing......

A forgotten scent.

Lost

upon the wind.
