Extended Metaphors To test the consistency
of a fruit’s inner juice,
the fruit must be squeezed.
We need to be pressed
to be softened a bit and
achieve the best flavor.
But never to be crushed
too much to be damaged
or to become unusable.
Only when we are squeezed
will we be ripe enough for
Him to sink his teeth into.
