When does childhood end exactly? Is it the same for everyone, a milestone we reach? Like maybe the moment we reach puberty or get married and have children?



Or does it change from person to person? Does it happen when you are assigned that first adult thing: to pay your own credit card bill, watch your younger siblings while your parents go out of town, or the first drive around town...alone.



Or perhaps it's something more abstract. The first time you have a dirty thought. The first time you control your emotions in public. Or the first time you truly love someone unconditionally.
