I’m stuck in this cycle that starts over day after day.

I wake up every morning and kneel down to pray

Hoping today will be different, and I won’t disobey.

But no matter how hard I try, something gets in my way.  

I’ll stumble into temptation just like every other day

Because it seems Satan constantly leads me astray.



By the end of the day, I’m back on my knees in prayer.

God said, “I heard you cry out to me that life’s not fair.

But I will never give you more burden than you can bear.

So when you wake up tomorrow, know how much I care.

You just have to remember me when you’re in despair.

And when you face Satan's temptations, I will be there."
