There is so much comparison
And coveting,
We forget to look to
The model of success-
Jesus Christ.
Our goals should not be
Rise the corporate ladder,
Pushing all others aside.
But instead it should be
To be the one who
Lifts people higher than himself
Like Jesus did.
We should desire to be
Like the Healer, by speaking
Words of encouragement
Rather than being condescending.
