I remember when I used to live with my grandparents; my grandfather was always with his lab coat on, he never took it away. Whether he was eating, whether he was taking a nap in the couch, or whether he went to the restroom. He indeed was a doctor, and as my grandmother always said he was a very good one. He used to have a ton of lab coats in his closet, they’ve been there through all my childhood, even when they remodel the house there they were all white, but the names it had written were of different colors. There were so many that and one day he decide to gift me one of his coats, it looked to be very old, it even had a yellowish color instead of a white. He had of every type of lab coats, some very expensive, valuable, and others that were just to keep the memory of when he got the lab coat. He even had pens and tongue de depressors in every one of his labs, even the same odor. What’s curious about my grandfather is he used lab coats and left every day to work, but he had already retired. He always left of the house around 8 or 9 of the morning. Sometimes earlier. Sometimes later. It was so often to see a ton of lab coats laying everywhere in the house, whether the maid had just clean the house. Whether he was out of the city working. The lab coats were always outside of his closet so I always tried to order them for him, I even try to hang them for him but they were always out. What was very curious is that my grandfather sometimes provided him some lab coats to my dad (who is also a doctor) for him to take to work. But what was the most curious of all things and what I found very fascinating to see. It was how his face looked when he put on the lab coat for work. It was a face representing happiness, representing joy for working, representing living in a peaceful and harmonic way. I never really saw my grandfather mad when wearing a lab coat. It was like it made him really happy wear lab coats. He even was comedian while wearing a lab coat. He just kept his smiling face whenever he whore a lab coat.
