now it’s just

a pointless fact

I know

I just couldn’t

resist it

Ha, that’s just

the way it goes

the line is written

and we are supposed

to just tow the line

I know I won’t

I know I won’t

be able

to just let it pass by

I’ll become a monster

of the written word

I’ll be the AntiChrist

of secular thought

and most of all

I’ll promise

to really rock the Casbah

so to speak

but I’ll live and I’ll learn

and maybe someday

I’ll actually

live and learn
