Throwing a no hitter

gotten thru five

and now jinxed by a fool

daring to speak out loud

not a perfect game

clunking a couple batters

but still a no-no thru 5

holding  a lead

and hoping to go 9

tossing a No-No

but some fool spoke too soon

the Gods of baseball can’t be pleased

silence is pretended to be golden

as we can’t express

what we clearly see before us
