bestoking the eye

boldly challenging

the

viewer

into an inner confrontation

that forces

reconciliation

with basic nature

                  and though

to some

strange

it appears

generally—perhaps

intentionally—

these deranged,

awkward moments

penetrate

to the core

and reveal to us

who we are
