The clumsy awkward verse

            that I jot down

                with inconsistent

          twists and turns

               without rhyme

                without reason

retain a luster

             of unique

       vision and expression

             the glow

          of any individual

                   standing

       on his own two feet

                and struggling

      with every crisis

                    and setback

               and shortcomings

     with unyielding

         uncompromising integrity
