I thought for so long
I thought for so long that you did not exist.
I thought that you were someone that the adults made up.
I thought what I heard was lies to make us behave.
Now I know that you do exist and that you are real.
Jesus I know that you are real and I believe in you now.
I thought for so long that you were something
the adults’ uses get the children to behave.
Now I am adult and I see everything in a different light.
I thought that you were made up
and I did not listen for so long.
Now I wish that I did
then I would understand what happen earlier.
