Healing
Healing takes time
and it has it's ups and downs
hurts the most
when no one is around
you'll get thru it
don't you give up
but what they don't know
feels like I been hit by a truck
sometimes I'm ready to take on the world
other days I feel so small
like a little girl
there is no set time
everyone heals on their own
this feeling of aching
I can feel it in my bones
I'm convinced I will get rid of this
one day it will all be a blur
just a little moment in the mist
don't want it to reoccur
just want it to be over
but it goes at it's own pace
I'm running and running
I want to finish the race.
