with every mistake we make

i know you're the one who got away

i feel your presence when tears fall down my face

when im alone i know you're next to my heart

no matter how many times i have watched you leave

i wont get used to the pain it causes me

i remember an old abandoned home

without locks or anyone near

we were in hushed whisper no one could hear.

ill never forget those hot summer days

ill never regret watching you go

i promise to keep my word 

that ill love you when i am older

when i am smart and not so stupid

if i ever meet you again

i hope its by fate

and ill never stop watching you coming back home 

i will never stop losing my breath

when i catch you looking at me

i will never get used to your subtle smile

i promise to you dear

id give up the world to watch you walk toward me
