Rusted and thrown to the side,
Wilting and falling to the ground,
We stand in awe of time,
The progression and memories;
we fear the time eater.
It consumes us and our memories,
Moments gone too soon,
We live in them,
'Til time is consumed.
We knew it our fate.
Lay down and gaze the ceiling,
Same as it was long ago,
Know it is but a brief moment,
You or it exists.
Time is being consumed.
We stand in awe of the length of time,
But time is just a moment,
And it's continually consumed,
We run from it, from fate.
Reach out to stop time.
Such is the complexity of time;
It is forever and never enough,
It is always and only now,
Exists as a fleeting memory,
Moments to be taken.
