there is no comfort
when its time to go
leaving behind loved ones
holding back tears
trying to stay so strong
keeping them brave
they fight for us all
saving our country
never asking for anything
let's give them our support

Coming from a vet...thank you for this write. Support for our troops seems to be waning these days. My son was an army ranger when this poem was written. He's still serving. My youngest daugter just got out of the marine corps when this was posted. So, thank you! Bless you!
