I know I've said it a million times
But life could not erase what I've done
I can't take back the months I burned
So here is my a million and one

I'm sorry that I hurt you
I'm sorry I turned away
I'm sorry I broke my friendship
And that this took so long to say

I wish I could change the past
Take back the pride I lost
But time doesn't stop for regret
Nor the life it cost

I'm sorry I didn't listen
I'm sorry I refused to see
I'm sorry I wouldn't stop myself
From what I came to be

I hope you will remember
I'll always have a hand to lend
Please take my apology--take my care
