Her eyes tell a story her words can't,
Her heart ache of its pieces missing,
She places your hand over it,
To mend the tears inside,
You kiss her softly and tear it out,
You piece it back together, and only to break it many times more,
She sits and stares at your pictures over and over again,
The sound of your voice sounds in her head,
She reaches to grab your hand but she falls short and you pull away,
Tear’s form in her eyes as her regret flashes back in her mind,
She longs for your kiss that’s now absent,
She urges for your touch she misses so,
Huddled in a corner she drowns all emotions away with a razor,
She stares at the glisten of blood that flows down her wrists,
She ignores your beating fists at her bedroom door,
She silences the ringing phone as you try to reach her,
Opening the door she glances down at you sitting against the wall with your eyes full of tears and sorrow,
She pulls you up into her arms and wipes away your tears,
She holds you and settles your broken heart as you never done for her,
Time after time she calls out for your savior,
Your words of security of always being there you’ve erased,
Yet she seems to still believe in them,
Her heart seems never to realize you’ll always be too late,
In the eyes of the world you’ll never be the angel she see you as,
You’ll never be the savior she wishes, and falsely believes you are,
Kiss after kiss, hug after hug the feeling isn’t the same,
The space between is growing day after day,
Your eyes never seem to meet hers anymore,
She convinces herself she’s your everything, your sun, your moon, your dreams, your every wish,
She ignores every word of people telling her you don’t love her anymore,
Underneath the stars you hold her hand and smile,
Because you know heart beat after heart beat she’s thinking of you,
She looks to the stars with a smile on her face because your by her side and on her mind,
Beneath those stars she refuses to look you in the eyes with tears in her own,
She knows your heart doesn’t belong to her,
If only you understood the feelings she has for you,
Sadly she trusts your words, and lies, and ignores the darkness in your eyes,
She falsely believes in your words, and in your love,
