Reflection & Projection

Projection and Reflection 

I'll put upon your open mind
A thought at once both yours and mine
A thought, in fact, which though sublime,
Will be effective over time. 

A thought to seek and then protect,
To muse upon and with respect,
Begin another two or three,
And share between us, you and me.

Mine:

I'll cast a light in your direction
In  hopes of receiving some affection
A light, so bright in my recollection
And I did set out to find protection

The three were destined for inflection.

A light so nice between the two
That it cast a shade of pure blue
Between the red and the lime
She projects the sublime

Don't put upon my mind
Something that can't be defined
Your thoughts aren't the same as mine
A life with me, you have decline

I thought to stay and then to go
Then to stay and peer out your window
Line up future canvas work
And thoughts of collaborations still lurk.
