Is it Saturday yet?
I tend to forget
I'm ready for my beer!
And my relationship that's unclear.
I'm ready to listen and hear
And drink more beer!
I'm ready to just be
Have some coffee and maybe some tea.
I'm ready to just lay or is that lie? ;)
I'd like to go to the river and watch the boats go by
Lay down my blanket and watch the clouds
Try to avoid all the Quarter crowds.
Browse some Art and talk to a few strangers
Avoid the outskirts and all its dangers
If its sunny out, I'll be quite content
And even if it drizzles, it was time well spent
There are a few characters I would like to try and catch
Have a beer with and see if some creative ideas hatch
Most of all, I am headed to see you
Hoping to hang out, have good conversation and screw!
