Wonderful Breather
I probably have said this already
But want you to know that I mean it
I need you in my life,
I desperately mean it
I would not have taken the chance
And let you in my car, drank with you at the bar,
I would not have shared a word with you
A canvas with you either, but felt so comfortable with you
It's been a wonderful breather.
If I scare you, I will gladly go away
I don't want to, but there are some things that you say.
Like maybe you just want some company, sometime
And someone to share a silly or serious rhyme.
Like when you said, "you need to get the fuck out"
Glad that was cleared up
Cause I like watching your plant sprout!
Or, "Hey you get 5 minutes"
That was funny too
Just threw that one in there, along with a tennis shoe!
I know you don't want the package!
I never did either
But shit happens
And then there is a breather!
