My New Friend
I'd never picked a stranger up
And let him in my car!
But loved the words you sent me,
Felt I knew who you are.
Drove around, found a park
And a perfect one at that!
When I go with the flow and trust my gut,
I usually find great chat!
Your court yard was beautiful,
I'd seen many before,
But never in the light of good company and
Feeling like a total whore!
My feelings were mixed
But felt totally at ease.
Sat on the couch a while
And wanted to be a total tease!
I don't really recall who made the first move,
But I do remember wanting to grab you and groove! (Lol)
Clothes off, headed to the bed,
Stand here with me is what you said!
I actually liked hearing you talk about yourself
And looking at your paintings in a row on the shelf.
You talked and talked,
I listened to you and the sounds from the street.
I enjoyed my day, the wedding that passed and the 3 beer treat!
You talked about oysters and got all excited!
I thought that was cute!
I liked seeing your space, the look on your face
and was relieved that you didn't wear Brute!
I know you like to write and think all alone.
As I lay here and write,
I think how I liked talking to you on the phone.
Think I said "Hope to see you Monday",
But not really sure.
All I know now is that I'd like a little more!
