I thought I was doing better, didn't think about you nearly as much.
I found a new guy and a new style, but even that couldn't hold me back.
'Cuz when I see you,
I stumble, and i go down.

You got me falling in reverse.
I want you and i miss you so much it hurts.
When i lay in bed just thinkin',
Its you I'm thinking about not him.
And I realize now you got me falling in reverse.

You came home for Christmas Break
And you brought the girl you said you're crazy about.
But at a party you told your secrets to a girl named Kristi,
Who happened to be my best friend.

You said to her, you wanna get married.
Have a nice little family with 3 kids and a dog.
But on the alter, you don't see your girl, you see me in the white.

Now what to make about that for my mind,
It'd just be so much easier telling myself I'm a love sick girl,
and what you said is just her fairytale.

But instead you got me thinking,
And running,
And stumbling over memories.
Wishing a blast from the past would come and get me.
Not just me falling in reverse, but when we were meant to be.
Before i had to think about reverse.
