i hate you

you who tried to protect me.

you who let me down just when you let me think it was all paranoia.

you are who i thought you were

when i refused to go out with you

but you wouldn't let it go

and i tried to resist

and sometimes i wish i had.

and now you've hurt me

you who never wanted me hurt.

and now everytime i think of you

i can't express the feeling..

i can't stand the idea of you.

because if i'd only listened to myself in the first place

and if you would have left me alone when i asked you to

i'd be fine.
