Broken Feeling
This life I hold in my hand,
It’s this life I cannot stand.
I feel so weak and broken down,
I cannot speak or even make a sound.
Broken inside and out,
I live my life full of doubt.
This feeling I hate so bad,
My empty life always makes me sad.
Makes me feel loved no more,
Placing my heart on the floor.
No more broken feeling,
Living in this life I hate,
No more broken feeling,
Cannot place a face to this fate,
Most cannot eat what’s on my plate,
No more broken feeling.
All I’ve ever known to be real,
Leaves me broken with nothing to feel.
I can’t believe I am able to survive,
In this broken life I stay alive.
Unable to remember my face,
Searching for answers in this broken place.
Fortunately I can still see,
In my broken place of insanity.
Burning my own skin,
Just to feel something within.
It all starts with a broken home,
I feel so broken I’m alone.
No more broken feeling,
Trying to escape this place,
No more broken feeling,
Still can’t see your face,
Another bottle, another case,
No more broken feeling.
The bottom of a bottle says nothing,
My life was supposed to mean something.
Not knowing what’s on my mind,
Makes me feel so far behind.
It’s so hard to care,
When you are stuck going nowhere.
Mixing me up inside my brain,
This broken feeling driving me insane.
No more broken feeling,
My life still breaking,
My body still shaking,
No more broken feeling,
This feeling so nervous,
My brain is out of service,
No more broken feeling,
This broken feeling in me,
Won’t allow me to be free,
No more broken feeling,
Sending this broken feeling away,
No more broken feeling today.
