what if its true that people will never change?

(maybe they're wrong, oh so wrong)



what if its true that love can fade away?

(but maybe we're the exception)



what if its true that nothing gold can stay?

(what is your heart made of? dont let the color change)



what if its true that i am not what i seem?

(so undeniably uncontrollable)



what if im wrong about why the stars shine so bright?

(is it the stars or my tears that make certain things shine?)



what if i lose all grip on the world today?

(reality is gone, is this a dream?)



what if we end up back to where we started?

(i will never hold you back)



what if you wake and realize im not the one?

(would you speak the truth or smile and decieve?)



what if tomorrow i was no longer here?

(would you live, could you go on?)



what if tonight was your last night on earth?

(would you regret the life you've lived?)



what if the shade is pulled from your eyes?
