Standing here above it all

Watching people as they fall

Onto the ground

Waiting for time to go

Watching so I will know

Who I am



I’m at the top of clouds

Sitting here thinking

What have I lost?

Or what am I missing?

Maybe I just don’t fit at all

Without my wings

I’m flying with nothing

I hope for too much

But I have to find something

It’s hard

To do this alone

On my own



Hoping my dreams come true

Knowing I’ll soon find you

It takes some time

Lonely and helplessness

I feel so defenseless

I need a friend



I’m at the top of clouds

Sitting here thinking

Save me from dying

In these clouds

I have been found

A new life I am living

Maybe I just needed a push

I got back my wings

I’m soaring and flying

Knowing I’m free

Now I’m not dying
