Shutting off the lights for bed
I picture your eyes in my head
Thinking how you’re smiling eyes
Always seem to look at mine
My heart that's jumping off its feet
Making everything thought complete
With just one look I'd recognize
The gentle kindness of your eyes
I never thought words could be so hard
But you’re all I ever wanted
It makes me feel so loved and free
Your eyes looking at me

Every time I look away
I gather words that I could say
Once I turn to your loving face
My words suddenly lose their place
My hands have chills run inside
Just by looking in those eyes
I really want to look at you
But what if you don't want me to
