Where am I goin in this life?

Where does the road lead this time?

I am afraid of the unknown,

but it's not time for me to go...



so I just thought I'd talk to you.

I just thought I'd call your name.

I just thought that I'd take the time to pray...

to pray to God who I gave up on.

I just thought I'd try before I'm gone...

I'd try to remember that you're the one



Then, when I wanted to die

you began to open my eyes.

You answered a small prayer from a faithless man,

and gave me a chance to begin again.



because I just thought I'd talk to you.

I just thought I'd call your name.

I just thought that I'd take the time to pray...

to pray to God who I gave up on.

I just thought I'd try before I'm gone...

I'd try to remember that you're the one...



and I did.

Now I believe again.

You took the time to show me...

when I was blind you made me see.

Once again you've saved my soul...

now, again, I know where to go.

I thought I was dead,

but you brought me back again.
