She looks in the mirror with tears in her eyes,
She's tired of hating herself, and so she cries.
He tells her she's a thing of beauty,
But as a friend, being nice is his line of duty.
She sees nothing in the reflection that is pretty,
And he just shakes his head with pity.
He tells her he wishes she could see,
But all she sees is how ugly she must be.
To her family she thinks she is a disgrace,
And to her school, she believes someone else deserves her place.
She's fat, she's ugly, she's stupid, she's a whore.
To her it's all true, and so much more.
