Grateful
Be grateful for what you've got,
Know that you've got a lot.
'Cause if your thoughts are in the not,
You'll always have an empty pot.
Yet if you give thanks for the little things,
You vibrate to you all life can bring..
Past tears become beautiful, flowing springs,
Lifes' music is strummed on golden strings,
You'll jump for joy like your feet sprouted wings!
So I pray that if you remember just one thing,
It's to keep that smile, and accept some gratitude from me.
Though we'll have trials they're not as bad as they can be,
Our attitude is what He sees and a joyful one will set us free.
Life with love makes one glad to give glee.
Try your luck and you'll surely be a winner, you'll see!
So long as your attitude shows gratitude,
While your choices reject greed.
Lend your heart and hand to those in need;
My Lord ever rewards those with love that don't flee.
All turmoil has been squashed when He hung from the tree.
Just for you and me? I'm so grateful to be free...
So grateful indeed, I owe my life to thee.
Please teach us Lord, I pray you'll take the lead.
If I feel bad when I fail, your grace comes abundantly.
