I walked
Into your ghost town
Only to find it haunted
BY YOU!
Gray skies rolling
Touching midnight
Tripping on barbed wire
Under the backdrop oblivion
Of Black canvas mountains
In the half-lit valley
Echoed the lonesome
Bellow of used up
Coyotes and wolves
I followed the pathway
To the pioneer graveyard
Bare grasping limbs
Of Cottonwood and Aspen
Arresting me amid
A garden of spirits
And the empty longing
For this pain to end
