Sometimes I find that

It's hard to be positive

So for all the wrong I've done

I pray the good Lord can forgive



Cause it ain't always honest

Although I really try

But sometimes it gets a lil hard

In this life tryin to survive



So Lord stay with me

As I walk thru sin

I know I can only blame myself

For the shit I'm in



But shit, I'm down here grindin

And sometimes it gets a lil hard

So sometimes I slip

Please be patient Lord



Cause see I'm really tryin

To be honest man

I know what my father expected

So I'm doin all I can



So God don't give up on me

I know I'm a get this right

And I'm gonna make you proud

Of the way I live my life
