Turning to find you standing there as before,
There for contempt and for care,
A friendship that binds old wounds,
Loyal to the end of time,
There for each other's lowliness,
To listen and help one another,
A binary relationship,
Comfort and kindness you gave,
Attention and understanding we have,
Yet a life distance apart,
Still there to carry each other through it,
Living in different worlds yet still connecting,
Still holding onto what we had in those golden days,
Easy going as we are in this existance,
Knowing that we always have each other's back,
Supporting one another through thick and thin,
As time goes by, our bond will never break,
