I awoke to a wave of euphoria
You were lying next to me
Your smooth, skinny arms gracefully held me tight
We were curled up together.
A neatly woven pattern of half-naked limbs
I stared into your beautiful brown eyes.
And you stared back burning this memory into my brain.
Gently brushing my hair out of my face
You kissed me.
Not too hard, not too soft.
Perfect.
A perfect goodmorninglet'sstayinbedallday kiss.
And we did.
There was no need for alarm clocks.
No need to go running.
All we needed was each other.
Entwined here in a beautiful state of unexpected euphoria.
