Eve's diffusion of colors:
Blue, orange and black;
Blood-red light in the heart,
The glow of all true lovers.
O ye houses of worship!
It's because of love you exist,
Love of God is eternal,
Unlike this world's relationship.
Be it a work of art,
Or temple. church or mosque,
Ask your own heart,
How true love wears a casque!
True love is known as Christ,
True love is Abraham,
Moses, David and Buddha,
True Love is God's Light.
In Muhammad of Arabia,
God's true love and light,
The successor of the Messiah,
Shines love's prism bright.
O ye worshipers learn to love,
God through His love for all,
Not with spiritless rituals,
But with true hearts withal.
Learn about faithfulness,
And fidelity from your pets,
Be it a horse or a dog,
Birds -- marvels of finesse.
From whom true love's light,
Radiates God's glory,
And in the gold fish too,
Are signs of the One Holy.
O ye masters of ritual,
Learn to be spiritual,
For God is One, without need:
Eternally besought of all!
O ye mullahs and priests!
O ye gurus on the streets!
Ponder deep within yourself,
Discover the Light of God.
What is worship other than,
The best expression of love?
God is not hidden from sight,
Everywhere is His Light.
Lip service to the Almighty?
Do ye think He knows not thee?
Prayers are just an exercise,
Such 'worship' needs not He.
When the vesper bell does toll,
And when the morning prayer call,
Lead you not to His love and grace,
Your hymns are of no worth at all.
If you have ever loved someone,
With a true and caring heart,
You will have learned worship,
True love's Godly art.
Spending nights in vice and sin,
Saying Christ has shed his blood,
To lead you straight to Him,
Ah, the tales you weave and spin!
If you love the Christ truly,
You will love to bear a cross,
To prove how you do love him,
But then...you lack the heart.
If Muhammad's followers,
Claim a greater love for him,
The mosques would be rays,
Resplendent with Godly Light.
I have met several saints and monks,
Have even talked with some nuns,
Yet when I speak with silent night,
It leads me to The Tavern's height.
Wherein heart-broken lovers true,
Have shed off preachers' falsehood,
Where the saqi's spiritual gaze,
Reflects peace in soothing light.
In The Tavern of these lovers,
I have seen the Light of God,
Shining forth from tears of blood,
In the saqi' and her cup-bearers.
And when the dawn beckons,
Those gathered at this Tavern,
To God they all turn, seeking Him,
'Dowsing Hell', 'burning Heaven'!
This is the love of Father Adam,
The divine light that blessed Moses,
This is the love of Mary's son,
Of Muhammad and Abraham!
