The last moon tonight
Will herald a reappearance
Again...in a night or two...
And the phases of life's seasons
Keeps changing and changing
Life good trying to redefine itself
As better than the best.
O if the befuddled minds knew
How much one has to be thankful
And grateful -- along with the few --
This vast and beautiful Earth
Would not have lamented thus!
Or wept
To see its face being spoiled
By the very element from which
The destroyer was created!
"Relax"! My soul whispers softly:
"Relax and take it easy
"For everybody does not have
"The eyes to admire beauty!"
The young woman in her bikini
Loves to bask in the sun
Even though it is not winter
She says: "Aww...it's just for fun!"
The waves are getting huge
It's as if a deluge
Lurks around to swallow
And she has no refuge!
But so are most of mankind
Heedless in their merriment
They all want 'fun'
In Hell's disguised raiment.
