Elegy
And the vast graveyard
Centuries' old decayed forms.
High green trees
Bear testimony
To the truth of our ending.
But good souls
Know this and prepare
For the Eden which was lost.
Good thoughts with
The best intentions
Are what God requires of us.
With the faith
In the Lord's oneness
As said in the Commandments.
Did Christ say:
"Worship me"? -- he did not
As all Gospels bear witness.
Nor did he
Ever claim to be God
Yet so many worship him!
Truth is truth
It can't be denied
So does the Bible relate.
When we die
It will be too late
To argue with the Lord God.
If only
One can contemplate
On the truth that God is One
This world too
Can be an Eden
With Adam and Eve happy.
All prophets
Sent for us by God
Said: "Worship none except Him".
Yet Satan
Plotted his fiendish scheme
And is happy that we're astray.
How the graves
In the old graveyard
Proclaim: There is but One God.
Without none
As son or daughter
And none comparable with Him.
You doubt that?
Then show me the proof:
In Torah or the Gospels.
God is One
And the most Unique
His Light adorns Earth and sky.
