Light fills world,
And darkness fades,
Within, without, everywhere.
God Most High,
Loves and cares for us,
Even though we are forgetful;
And thankless,
For most of our life,
The universe glorifies Him.
Plants and trees,
Animals and insects,
Even the silence adores Him.
Flowers smile,
As dew adds its touch,
And the birds chirp His praise.
Naseem* too,
Lends its melody,
In the early hours of dawn.
Rivers and streams,
High mountains and hills,
Sanctify God's uniqueness.
Oceans too,
With their vast expanse,
Humble their might on the shores.
Sun and moon,
All galactic forms,
Speak volumes about Allah.
Why should I,
Then remain heedless,
Of my incomparable God?
As I grow,
Wiser and wiser,
My faith in His Oneness abounds.
His blessings,
And countless favors,
Make me worship Him truly:
Devoutly,
Without compulsion,
My soul proclaims His greatness.
"O Lord God!
Forgiver of sins
I find peace and love in You".
"O Creator!
And my Protector,
I am yours, wholeheartedly".
"Even this,
"Is but Your mercy,
O my Allah Almighty!"
