Shadows crawl,
Shadows hide,
Their looming sway,
Will not bide.
Here and there,
Everywhere,
A shadow lurks,
A shadow stares.
Look around,
Why so bound?
Why keep moving,
All unaware?
Dreams are dark,
Silence still,
My morrow is,
Until...until...
Wait for me,
Please don't flee,
No, not lonely,
Let me be...
Am I not
Grim existence?
A shadow's trip,
From hence to hence.
Will I know?
Will I find?
How shadow's skein,
Does unwind?
Amid all this,
You were light,
A light I lost,
In shadow's flight.
