WHEN ETERNITY IS JUST OURS

My beloved
Is rare and graceful
Even in absence she's with me.
Long ago
I loved a movie
"Little House On The Prairie".
"Country roads"
Are "too much heaven"
If she doesn't go away.
When she stays
Love's grand rainbow shines
And eternity is just ours.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is a poem inspired by the television show "The Little House On The Prairie" (1976) starring late Michael Landon and Karen Grassle, Melissa Sue Anderson, Melissa Gilbert and Lindsay Greenbush. My favourite TV programme to this day. "Country Roads" is a well known song sung by John Denver way back in the 1970s about West Virginia (My favourite place in the USA). "Too Much Heaven" and "If You Go Away" (Terry Jacks' version) are also hit songs of those years. I have used these to describe my feelings of love for my beloved, rare woman...
