Smoke and haze,
Mingle desperately,
Just like my passions and dreams.
Flowers smile,
And sway in merriment,
Just like you did quite often.
Heart and mind,
Locked in battle,
As temptations are drowned in drinks.
I must shine,
Like the lighthouse beam,
So that my loved ones can sail.
Often do I,
Gaze at a missing button,
On my shirt cuff and long for you.
